A new chapter unfolds today as Benny Sings officially releases “22 Durnham Dew”, the title track from his upcoming album out September 25th via Stones Throw.
Swapping the high pace of downtown Amsterdam for the quiet Dutch countryside, Benny wrote this new body of work from a grounded place shaped by family and domestic life. The track turned deeply personal when his daughter walked into his studio while home sick and recorded a chorus in a single take, completely transforming its meaning.
To celebrate the release, a touching animated music video created by Nanako Toriya is out now. Benny will also take the new music on the road across Europe and the UK this fall, concluding with a homecoming show at Paradiso in Amsterdam on December 8th.
