Today singer Sofie Winterson released her new album ‘Southern Skies‘, produced and co-written by Benny Sings.
Sofie Winterson’s new album Southern Skies was made with Benny Sings. The album builds on the EP ‘Moral‘ they made together in 2019. Their collaboration went so well that more and more songs came to life, resulting in a full-length album: ‘Southern Skies‘. An album about the passage of time, the desire for boredom, feeling powerless in the face of choices made by a good friend, about having wanted to do things better or differently, about new encounters while creating an image of someone else from your own experience. All of this is wonderfully set to music by Sofie Winterson and Benny Sings. Together they went in search of the essence of the song. The compositions and arrangements wrap themselves around the words and melody, to get to the heart of the matter, in which they succeeded wonderfully.
