As a Ghanaian kid in Amsterdam, Benjamin ‘Bnnyhunna’ Ankomah discovered how to express himself through music. In church, he learned to play the piano, guitar and drums. Later, he produced songs for Gaidaa, Rimon and Dolapo, and toured the world with Jose James, Arp Frique and Yung Nnelg. For his own, unorthodox message, he experiments with photography, video and poetry. His fusion of jazz, Afro, hip-hop and R&B is influenced by legends such as Fela Kuti, Pharell and Kendrick Lamar and is particularly well captured on his debut album ECHOES OF PRAYER.

.multibeat is a hip hop trio and producer collective from Utrecht. They mix all kinds of genres while always keeping the beat central. Strongly inspired by artists like Robert Glasper and the contemporary UK jazz wave, the group aims to bring the hip-hop and jazz worlds closer together through collaborations. Live, the band seamlessly finds the transition between cosmic keyboard solos, wonky hip hop breaks and R&B tracks with hooks that stick in your head. In early 2025, .multibeat will release a new EP.
