Benny Sings has been nominated for a ‘Gouden Notekraker’ – an award handed out by Dutch musicians as an appreciation for influential colleagues.
The ‘Gouden Notekraker’ will be awarded on September 19 in the Melkweg in Amsterdam. Since 1974, the ‘Gouden Notekraker’ has been the award for long-standing and particularly influential stage performances. Fellow musicians vote for their favorite candidate. Above all, it’s a prize from musicians for musicians. Previous winners are a.o. DI-RECT, Eefje de Visser, Caro Emerald, Ilse DeLange, Racoon, Wende Snijders, and Jan Akkerman.
